semesters
basics
• the rules are same as they've always been, we don't allow jackassery, plagiarism, godmodding, or ooc drama. don't blur the line between ic and ooc! place all triggering/nsfw material behind a cut with appropriate warnings. we're also going to be keeping an eye out for any apparent role hogging. showing up just to pass activity will not fly with us, we want this to be a community for dedicated writers that are present and willing to interact with one another. rp shouldn't be treated like homework and done at the last minute, it should be something you have fun with.

• please backdate your f/o and ooc contact, and use cuts and nsfw & trigger warnings when necessary. be respectful and knowledgeable on heavier subjects. we are not going to require you to clear your storylines with us first, but if we find that other members are uncomfortable with your subject matter or material then we will contact you and decide how to move forward in everyone's best interest.

• you can have up to three characters in game, but we ask that you be present and active with all of your characters. if you're not able to maintain activity, any additional characters may be rejected to ensure that no overzealous face hogging occurs.

• your friends list must be kept up to date and do not allow the use of <noembed>.

• if you have issues, questions, concerns, anything please utilize our dropbox! we're more than happy to field your questions or help with any problems you may find.

applying & acceptance
• our aim is to keep the application process simple and to the point! in order to apply you'll need to set up your journal (ic only) with at least one icon, backdated friends only and ooc contact posts, and a brief blurb. we ask to see one scene and two updates for examples and will be judging you on the quality of your content and on the apparent consistency; rejected applications will be deleted.

• once you've been accepted you will have 72 hours to post your intro to quad or you will be put up for override/removal. we also insist that you have replied to the comments left in your post or it will not count, we don't want to see people getting their intros out to avoid being removed and then ignoring everyone that's shown up to greet them.

the invite-only & lgbt+ aspects
• for the first week only we'll have open applications, meaning anyone can hold and apply without having to be directly invited! however, after that first week we'll start to operate on a the invite-only basis. you are welcome to utilize pbads and tuition to find people to connect with for an invitation but you cannot apply until you've been invited.

• we ask that all characters fall under the lgbt+ umbrella! regardless of if they're gay, bi, questioning, trans, or whatever you may choose we aim to keep semesters a fun and friendly home that explores the friendships, heartbreaks, fall-outs, and whatever else for a lgbt+ cast of characters.
